In life, we all need a peaceful place to unwind and relax. This particular space was originally an oversized rectangular primary bathroom built in the 1980s. To give it a fresh and modern look, we reimagined the layout by creating a walk-in closet for her, a large reach-in closet for him, and a spacious master bathroom for moments of tranquility. The bathroom features custom cement counters, a self-cleaning toilet, and a beautiful soaker tub that's hard to resist. Adding a functional robe hook that doubles as art brings interest and a little fun to the space.

The requirements for this space were to keep it simple with clean lines and a focus on the outdoors. The furniture was kept low to allow for a clear view of the beautiful backdrop. To bring a bit of the exterior to the interior, we played with natural elements like stone, glass, and wood. The use of geometric shapes was a nod to the architecture of the home. To maximize function and keep the vibe calm and collected, we designed custom storage units for the primary bedroom, eliminating the need for misfitting furniture.

The flooring was Refinished by Wood On Wheels Hardwood Flooring, while the cabinetry was done by Rylex Custom Cabinetry & Closets.

Contemporary elements meet traditional tendencies with a splash of steampunk to help create this small bath into a refuge for this eclectic homeowner. Adding a custom walnut vanity with hidden storage in the toe kick and behind a large drawer face keeps the lines clean while providing extra space for smaller items. Fun hooks add wimsey, keeping a playful element to this grown-up design.

Living on the coast provides countless opportunities to enjoy nature's elements. Bringing the outside in creates a rich color scheme that mimics the sea. Natural materials like jute and antiqued wood, along with colorfast materials that won't fade in the sun-soaked spaces, create the perfect environment to unwind, read a book, or enjoy some tea by the sea!

This beautiful contemporary farmhouse bath oozes relaxation and organization. Using calm warm gray tones throughout the stunning painted cabinetry picks up the subtle details of the flooring. The acid etched glass creates a lighter look while keeping everyday items hidden in a convenient place. It's always important to have a space where family and friends can gather and socialize. But having a separate space to entertain is even better! This custom bar was the perfect addition to the media room. It pays homage to the traditional bars of yesteryear while providing all modern convenience. The bar is paired with old-world tiles and a custom live edge bar top, serving as a perfect spot to sit and watch the game. Adding a comfy rug for playing pool or shooting darts adds warmth and makes it the perfect place to send the kids or hang out with friends!

"It's all about the details! This primary bathroom has a spa-like feel, with large tiles creating a seamless background for the custom mirror and floating vanity. The rich warm tones of the wide plank wood flooring add a down-to-earth modern farmhouse vibe. In the kitchen, we opted for soft off-white cabinets with grey glazing to highlight the details, while ensuring all modern luxuries were included. To reinforce our modern farmhouse concept, we used interesting hardware and sink details throughout the home. The cabinetry used in the project is from Rylex Custom Cabinetry & Closets."

The challenge was to blend the client's contemporary preferences with a traditionally styled home. The main living space was designed to be comfortable yet durable to accommodate a growing family. The use of hard-wearing soft materials has created an inviting space suitable for relaxation and entertainment.

Modern Luxuries has converted this simple room into a contemporary gallery/guest room by incorporating a pullout sofa and a custom dresser/makeup table, in addition to custom artwork. The space has been transformed into a functional work of art. This traditional couple needed a fresh start. Pairing their beloved art with new furnishings and oriental rugs. These traditional rooms pop with color and life!

Pulling from their lively artwork the vibrant wall colors fit this young, contemporary family. Adding a custom railing to open the space along with minimalistic furnishing to ensure floor space is ample for feisty toddlers, naptime yoga, and family festivities!

When a new beginning starts with an old home It requires respect for old bones while fitting the aesthetic of the new homeowner. Using some more traditional elements like a classic chesterfield sofa with a fun alligator skin on the ottoman begins the dance.

Moving into a classic trestle farm table for a casual “formal” dining space. Up to cozy shuttered windows in the master with beautiful leather adorned bed frame. To a mustard game room for family fun, this old home is ready for new traditions!

This bedroom exudes a Caribbean vibe with a rattan bed frame and French dressers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The gold leaf end tables bring a touch of sunshine to the space, while the beautiful bedding adorned with dragonflies showcases the homeowner's sentimental touch. The result is a cozy and safe haven that is full of great memories and warm vibes. The window treatments and bedding have been custom-tailored by Juanita Sicurella-Strassfield.

These beautifully designed window treatments add a touch of sophistication to the formal dining and living area. The seating arrangement consists of a pair of crescent scalloped back sofas, accompanied by a traditional mahogany inlaid cocktail table, creating a cozy and welcoming spot for guests to enjoy conversations over drinks. The window treatments were customized by Juanita Sicurella-Strassfield, ensuring a perfect fit for the windows.
